Have you ever seen a bodybuilder robot? Well I hadn't seen one, until I remembered to build one! Is it the first candidate to "Mr. Robot-Lympia"?
Jokes aside, I will explain how this simple robot works. It has a small, but sturdy and spacious base! At the back, the weights of the machine are represented by black pulleys. Just ahead is the small chair where Mr. Robot is sitting with his arms on the handles. With a large motor under the chair, it moves the handles of the machine, and with the articulated arms of Mr. Robot it seems that are them that are making the machine to move. In association with this motor, there is another one under the weights (on the back of the base) which makes lifting and lowering of them, respectively. Since the weights are attached to the handles of the machine, the movement seems the same!
Next to the feet of Mr. Robot you can observe a "small big" bottle of water and more weights ready to enter the next sequence!
The program I made is also very basic, only with action, waiting and sound blocks! In the last two repetitions the movement takes more time, retreating a little and then back to advance, to give the feeling that it is getting tired and it costs more, as in reality.
The movement of the motors is defined by angles with action blocks because it becomes easier to control the movements.
We can now see the usual video, where we can check what has been described above. You can see the video here on the blog, or on the youtube channel.
